Owing to the increased size of the torque dampers certain inconveniences have been found in the arrangement at present being used, and I suggested instead of adding any additional parts we could clear the matter up by changing the type of the front shock damper, (as we have already tested,) to the external type.

We have arranged that simple drawings of the modifications shall be sent to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has also found a simple way out of the difficulty using all existing parts. A drawing is sent by this post.
