Description: ROCKER COVER JOINT (GASKOID).
Purpose: Reduction in cost over using Vellumoid.
Brief Report and Remarks:
Gaskoid rocker cover joint ran satisfactorily without leaks or flaking of enamel on 8-B.V. over 15,000 miles.
This sample which was coloured blue was submitted for trial by O.O. and costs 1/6d. as against 3/4d. for Vellumoid.
Recommend 1 series be equipped with Gaskoid for confirmation of above.

Production Position and Comments:
Rocker Cover Joint (Gaskoid) can be introduced at the 1st. Chassis in 'C' series without scrap. No tool cost is involved and there is a decrease in Factory cost of 1/10d. per chassis.
