Dear Sirs,

You have recently supplied us with some capsules to our drawing No. E.58119.I. These capsules, as you are probably aware, are used to operate a cut off for the oil supply which we want to operate at about 25°C. At present these capsules give a cut off at 46°C, which is we find far too high.

We appreciate the difficulty of getting a fluid with vapour pressure which will give us what we want but since the power required is not very great we should like to know whether you can give us anything which is more satisfactory. Our aim at present is for the capsules to be expanded at 25°C.

We should be pleased to discuss possibilities with your representative any time to suit your convenience.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
