-4- (8) MANUFACTURE OF ELECTRICAL UNITS. This was erased from the Agenda. (9) REDUCTION OF ESTABLISHMENT CHARGES. Jn. stated that no expenditure was being undertaken without his consent, and he said that it was working very smoothly and that very few expenses were being incurred. (10) 14/52 BACK AXLE. This was erased from the Agenda, this axle now being standardised. (11) PRESENT TYPE OF MAGNETO. Whether the present type is suitable or whether we should fit the Bosch Magneto. This matter was discussed and will be brought up again at the next conference. (12) LIDS ON BATTERY BOXES. This matter has got as far as R.{Sir Henry Royce} and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has been asked to write to R.{Sir Henry Royce} to see if the matter could be hurried on. This matter will be brought up again at the next conference. (13) ALTERATIONS TO STANDARD. This was erased from the Agenda. (14) SELF STARTERS ON PRE-WAR CARS. Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} stated that he had written to R.{Sir Henry Royce} on this subject, Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} to let BJ. know what reply he gets from R.{Sir Henry Royce} This matter to be brought up again at the next conference. (15) PETROL GAUGE. It was thought that this ought to come along on the Goshawk tank. To be brought up again at the next conference. (16) BULK HEADS. WATER TIGHT COMPARTMENTS. This was erased from the Agenda. | ||
