To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X1225 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.15/KW.27.2.36. In order to balance the Ph.III crank and flywheel etc. complete on the Trebel balancing machine, it is necessary to run on the main journals. This will necessitate a modification to the supporting roller bearer of the machine; i.e., it will have to be cranked approximately 1.00" in order to make the rollers clear the oil hole in the journal. We would like you to detail and make a new modified bearer complete with rollers, which can then be fitted to the machine. We have discussed the matter with S. Bannister and explained just what is required. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
