SUMMARY OF TEST.
The chief object of trying this car was because the Daimler people fit balloon tyres all round on most of their cars. It would appear from the report of this particular car that the reasons why they have less risk of wobbles are :-
(1) Max. speed not high enough.
(2) Although balloon tyres are fitted they are pumped to fairly high pressures.
(3) Contact of wheel on the road 1.5" to 2".off centre-point.
(4) Stiff front springs and shock absorbers.

It is interesting to note that this particular car emitted less smoke from the exhaust than the old Daimlers. We doubt whether the axle ratio which was given for this car is correct - this is being confirmed and will be sent on.
