To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to CJ. BJ. c. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} EY. c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} SERVO JAGGERS. X5370 X8370 We omitted to mention in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG7.12.25. that we have tested the scheme given in DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}'s N.sch.2075 in which a spring is fixed to the balancing lever. We did not find this successful in overcoming servo jaggers. We recommend that we arrange for a small amount of flexibility in the engagement of the servo as we have proved that this will definately overcome the fault! Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
