x4456 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}22/KW. 6th February, 1935. Messrs. New-Hudson Ltd., Icknield Street, Birmingham 18. For the attention of Mr. Fraser. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 5th February. We should like you to send the axles back here, when we will fit them to a car, arrange some temporary brake linkage, and then let you have the chassis for completion. We should like to reiterate that we are short of experimental chassis for test purposes, and therefore would like your assurance that you will push through the linkage when we let you have the complete car with the greatest possible expedition. We do not know whether you already have a scheme in mind, but if you have something drawn out we should be glad of the opportunity of criticising it. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
