X. 646 P COPY. X.646 Fullers Block Accumulators. I have tested these of an average of 12 discharges. These cells behave remarkably well, very strong in construction, remarkably light in weight, viz 5 lbs 4 ozs per 2 volt cell. I have had two cells discharged and left standing 3 weeks with no sign of sulphating, only a slight difference in the colour of the plates; these were discharged to .1 volts. They recover themselves when left standing after discharging to a remarkable extent. It would be advantageous to test an 8 or 12 volt battery of an heavy discharge for comparison with the Edisons. Weight per amp. hour (actual) = .406 lbs. Variation in voltage, % at the end of discharge. = 14.3% Variation of voltage % in the rise at the end of the charge. = 23% (sgd) W. Ellis. | ||
