contd :- -3- (15) Scuttle Isolation. We do not know definitely what this refers to. All our subframe cars have scuttle isolation. (16) Improved instrument board controls and controls on column. These will be standardised when the 10,000 miles test on 10-G-lll is completed. (17) Strengthened step irons. We have received no instructions for these. (18) Dipping head lamps. The same remarks apply to the 20 HP. as the Phantom. (19) Subframe type side levers. The one criticism we have against this is that the brake lever is very flabby sideways and at some speeds it picks up engine vibrations. As however we consider the ratchet mechanism is better than what we use on the present cars, we propose to standardise this scheme after 10-G-lll has completed 10,000 miles.
