(7) Cast Dash.

The cast dash has run 20,000 miles on 12-EX.
car. We however have satisfied ourselves that more vibrations
are felt on the steering column when the cast-dash is used.
There was also a note from R.{Sir Henry Royce} whilst he was at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence, saying
that he thought we ought to stick to the sheet-metal dash
because it was lighter.

(8) Revised steerings giving increased body space.

These were originally fitted to 12-EX (EAC-8
type car) with cast dash board.
We have now practically completed 10-EX car which has a
standard dashboard. If this is approved there is no reason
why this modified steering and pedal position could not be
standardised.

(9) Revised Rear Luggage Carrier to overcome erection
difficulties.

We are at present testing one of these on
the bumping rig.

(10) Strengthened step irons and an additional one on
short chassis.

So far we do not appear to have received
instructions from the D.O. as regards this.

(11) Subframe type side levers.

These have been standardised and will shortly
be fitted to all cars.

INDIA.

(12) Chassis with increased diameter cross members.

We have received no instructions as regards
this. As R.{Sir Henry Royce} is asking for a 20 HP. chassis, if this job is
going forward, we might build him up a chassis with these
increased dia. cross members.

(13) Subframe.

10-G-111 is at present running in France.
We are not satisfied with the front fixing of the body. When
the car returns you will have an opportunity of examining this.

(14) Cast-dash.

The same remarks apply to the 20 HP. as the
Phantom.
