Dear Sirs, PINION BEARINGS With reference to your valued communication of the 22nd instant, regarding the above, we note that you are forwarding one quart of Whitmore's Oil, and we will use this in our test. As we mentioned to you during our early conversation on these tests, it is difficult in our test rig to merely leave a sump of oil owing to the concentration of heat, and all our previous tests have been run with an oil circulation feed. However, we will try out the test with an oil sump using the one quart which you have sent, and will inform you of the results obtained as soon as these are to hand. Yours faithfully, RANSOME & MARLES BEARING CO. LTD. [Illegible Signature] / per Pro. MANAGING DIRECTOR. | ||
