Messrs. Ransome & Marles Bearing Co.Ltd.,
Newark-on-Trent.

Attention Mr. Hickling.

Dear Sirs,

Further to our letter asking you to use Whitmore's Oil in the steel cage bearing test, we think it would be useful to run half the test on this oil and half on Wakefield's E.P. (Sulphur) Oil.

We will therefore send you a quart of the latter and should be interested to hear your views on their relative merits.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
