1033 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 24th Sept. 1937. T.L. Turner, Esq., The Zenith Carburetter Co.,Ltd., Stanmore, MIDDLESEX. Dear Mr. Turner, I understood during our conversation that so far the P.III carburetter had had none of the hand work deleted from it. In the case of the 25/30 carburetter this hand work reduces the cost by over £1 if my recollection is correct. This, of course, included control levers which were not polished by hand. We are, therefore, disappointed that the figure of 4/- is the best reduction for the carburetter which you have sent us to test. Are you proposing to let us have another carburetter later on? Yours sincerely, | ||
