These weights should no doubt be accepted with reserve but they shew that we are at a considerable disadvantage.

If by co-operation with the body builder on the maximum capacity body sufficient weight could be saved, then in conjunction with some increase in engine capacity the desired result might be achieved as in (b).

Unlike the chassis maker the body builder has no direct incentive to save weight. His main object must necessarily be to build a body that will stand up, with weight as a secondary consideration, and the average customer will probably not take much interest in this point.

With regard to the question of increasing engine capacity we are at the moment redesigning the 25HP. with half inch longer stroke without adding to the length of the engine.
