Miss England II.

I am much obliged to you for your letter of the 1st inst. forwarding cheque for £27-9-6 in payment of my charges and disbursements in connection with the above matter. I observe that the endorsement on the cheque constitutes the formal receipt.

I also note that you have sent cheque to Messrs. George Catey & Son direct in payment of their charges.
