To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to R.C. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} PN.{Mr Northey} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} re Worst Features. 40/50 P.II. Arising out of our discussion at St.Albans the other day, you will remember that it was agreed that it would be a good idea to revise the list of Worst Features, keeping the list as small as possible so as to ensure concentration on the features in question. After careful consideration here and discussion with you at Derby this list has been agreed as follows: (1). Booming and vibrations, or "roar, noise and "fuss" at 50/60 m.p.h. and torque reaction vibrations at 15 to 25 m.p.h. (2). Hydraulic shock absorbers and complaints as per the quarterly report. (3). Springing, i.e. general riding comfort and complaints as per the quarterly report. (4). Water boiling and complaints as per the quarterly report. (5). Steering and complaints as per the quarterly report. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Handwritten notes: Top of page: x7770.
