Dear Mr.Steadman, In a recent issue of "The Motor" there was described a new type of thermostat for which claims are made, with which I personally do not agree. I have therefore jotted down a few notes on thermostats with and without by-passes, and am sending you a copy with this letter. My object in doing so is to refresh your memory with regard to the claims which we put forward for thermostats provided with a self-closing by-pass, which claims, I think you will agree, service conditions have shown to be correct. Yours sincerely, W.Martin-Hurst. ENCL: | ||
