R.R. 300 (6 B) (W. 524. 25.5.11) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 1693. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. F Z52/5 To O.D. Customer's No. 1694 Baron Krupp Order No. 22 11. 1911 Re I have had instructions signed E.M. 17/11/11 to fit 'shield for protecting oil pump & pipes leading from sump to the base of the crankchamber.' The Car is now in test dept. Please let Technical Committee decide this point. The pump is already protected. I do not see how to protect the pipe in its present position except by fitting a large undersheet somewhat as on Speed Trials car & such would be contrary to Mr Royce's wishes. Signed RDSpring This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
