Dear Spurrier,

I have to be in Manchester next week and might take the opportunity of coming and seeing how you are getting on with your oil engine, if there is anything on view.

I hope the dope we gave you on blowers panned out reasonably well.

I am interested to know whether the tri-metal big ends stood up to the compression ignition punch.
