W.A. Robotham, Esq.,
Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Robotham,

I am afraid that up to date we have been able to make very little progress in allocating production machines for the machining of your crankshafts.

The drawing which we received has been studied by our Planning Engineer who appreciates the nature of work required on these parts, and at the present time I do not think that a visit by yourself would help matters. In this I refer to the machining of crankshafts, because you know well enough we would always be glad to see you here to discuss general subjects any time that you can find the time to get away.

I can promise you that we will do everything we can to put some work in on these cranks at the first opportunity. Just at the moment we have such a big programme of our own in front of us that we are unable to allocate any spare time.

Yours sincerely,

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Spurrier, Jnr.{Charles L. Jenner}
