1204 August 17th 1937. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/AP. Captain Phillips, The Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall, LONDON S.W.1. Dear Captain Phillips, I wondered whether you would be able to obtain us any facilities for seeing the Tourist Trophy Race, as you have done during the past three years. It is, of course, unlikely that Hall's Bentley will run this year, on the other hand we have very pleasant recollections of the race in Ireland and if ever it is resumed at Belfast we should be very disappointed if the Company is not represented. We should like to mention in passing that if we can assist the R.A.C. in any way by providing transport during the week-end of the Race, we shall be happy to do so to the extent of the cars which we have available. Yours sincerely, | ||
