To EH. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. ORIGINAL LUDLOW 14th R3/Ge/5/19. (G DOOR) AERO. W M RE COLOUR OF BODY OF NEW CAR. With reference to the colour of the new body, we were not impressed with the colours sent, and you will remember it was suggested by Mr. Barrington that it should be a warmer khaki colour, that is, a colour made of orange and black, containing no blue. We have attempted to give you the shade on a piece of paper attached, with water colours. Our choice is the one framed with black. R.{Sir Henry Royce} [Signature] The sketch referred to is the one sent with C of D 9/5/19. [Stamp: RECEIVED MAY 15 1919] | ||
