(b) Chassis Jigs.

It was agreed that five chassis jigs will be needed to enable the Coachbuilders, other than Park Ward & Co to produce Show cars. Messrs. Park Ward & Co. have the original experimental jig. The agreement was that Messrs. Park Ward & Co. should modernise the two jigs which they have already produced for us and build three new ones. Derby is to supply them with the necessary working drawings to enable these jigs to be produced in such a way that they will represent the chassis as they will be delivered.

(c) Rear Wheel Arches.

As the steel rear wheel arch is an integral part of the wide framed chassis design it was agreed that this must be used on all of the cars, and that to achieve this we should have to supply them. For these cars it was agreed that Messrs. Park Ward & Co. should make eight sets of wheel arches and that Derby would go into the question of supplying them for future production.

(d) Coachwork Construction.

A series of special features dealing with the technical aspect of the construction of coachwork were mentioned by S. and discussed by the Meeting. These recommended features are the result of the investigation of the Cadillac and other american cars, and of the experience gained from the experimental SpectreCodename for Phantom III bodies. It was agreed that these constructional features should be described and illustrated by Derby in a condensed form suitable for distribution to Coachbuilders.

(e) Petrol Filler.

The petrol filler on the side of the boot, as fitted to the experimental coachwork Bentley in London, was discussed and it was reported that an improved design had been completed which would be fitted to the Bentley in question for inspection by Sales. It was agreed that provided the appearance was acceptable such an outside filler might be fitted to the first eight SpectreCodename for Phantom III cars.

(f) Head Lamps, Wing Lamps and Fog Lamps.

It was agreed to fit Lucas P 100 dipping head lamps, with a cancelling switch.
