Vandervell Main Bearings.

Will you please incorporate the modification ECD.924 to the new units which we have instructed to be fitted with Vandervell main bearings.

(1) Wraith III No.10 unit, our specification Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}14/JH. 17.6.38.

(2) B.III No.6 unit, our specification Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}3/R.23.8.38.

The object of the above mod. ECD.924 is to lengthen the oil retaining thread and so increase its efficiency with regard to preventing oil leaking into the clutch pit.
