VANDERVELL BEARINGS - B.60 & B.80.

This memo to confirm that the first B.80 engine will be fitted with Vandervell main bearings in view of the fact that it was not possible to get them in on the B.60 units 1, 2 and 3 owing to insufficient metal left in the crankcase bearing bores.

Vandervells submitted a layout for the B.60 engine L.1095, which is suitable to use for the B.80 engine, the front, centre and rear being the same, likewise the intermediates except in number, B.60 having 4 and B.80 having 6.
