MICROMETER CLOCKS.

Will you please order two "Capstan No.5" one inch travel micrometer dial gauges from the Capstan Gauge Co., Brighton.

The immediate purpose for which these gauges are required is the measurement of deflection in the Packard type rubber bushes as designed for Bentley III, but this type of clock is used for a number of purposes, e.g., valve lift against cam angle, rear axle deflection, and deflection of any part of any part of a motor car - Frame Stiffness, mechanical efficiency of various mechanisms, including brake mechanism, engine mounting movement.

We have only one such clock in the chassis test section, and this is not enough.
