Continued:

receiving the gift of a walking stick from a Pondo Chief at an Indaba held at Lusikisiki in Pondoland. Lady Duncan is wearing the fur coat and Lt. Watkins R.N., who is the Aide de Camp in waiting is seen standing immediately behind His Excellency. No. 2 was taken at another Indaba held at Mount Frere in the Transkei and No. 3 is a snap of the fleet of cars which I took on the tour with me and taken in the garage yard behind the hotel in Umtata which is the capital of the Transkei Territory.

In conclusion, I shall be glad if you will forward me any new gaskets etc., that I shall require in connection with decarbonising. I have in my possession one dozen exhaust manifold gaskets and four cylinder head gaskets. I would also like you to send me two sets of felt strainer pads and one air cleaner element.
