Chassis 139-AG. J.S.Spencer.

Please refer to mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}13/NJ5.2.23 asking E.F. to be good enough to say whether a decision has been taken with regard to the manner in which the cost of repairing the battery removed from the above-mentioned chassis is to be divided between customer, ourselves and possibly Messrs.Barkers, the amount in question being £5.5.0d.

We are now in receipt of a letter from the Chloride Co. dated 9th inst. as follows:-

"We beg to refer you to our letter of December 27th, "1922, under the above heading. We have received a letter "from the Clyde Automobile Co.Ltd., dated February 5th, "reading as follows:-

"Up to the time of writing we have heard absolutely "nothing further from you. Will you please advise "E.F if you have taken up this matter with Messrs. "Rolls-Royce Ltd., and what decision has been come "to, as we really must get it disposed of."

"When the undersigned called at your Works in January, "he gathered that the matter was still under consideration "by you."

I hope it will be possible to clear this matter up forthwith.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
