RE BATTERY - CHASSIS 15-FW
J.T. Ward Esq. Boston.
-------------------------

Answering your D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP/HF {H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector} 6/B9.2.23, it certainly appears that in the ordinary way the battery should have a somewhat longer life than described by the owner, especially if it has had the consideration which he states. The owner does not, however, state that care has been taken not to overcharge the battery, so one may perhaps assume that he has done a lot of daytime touring work with the battery always on charge.

We cannot say any more than this without actually inspecting the battery; therefore, before proceeding further, it will be necessary to have the Chloride Co.'s report on its condition.

It is also possible that this battery may be the old type.
