X1588 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} ROY{Sir Henry Royce}3/MG27.4.29 Messrs. Duckham are still pressing us for approval of their "ADCOL" New Process Oil for use on Rolls Royce Cars, and state they now have the approval of: The Austin Motor Company Morris Motors Ltd. Star. Rover. Hillman, Riley, M.G. Sports Vauxhall Humber, Panhard Levassor, Hispano-Suiza. I propose advising them it is regretted we are not at the moment in a position to entertain such a proposal, as the abnormal pressure in our Experimental Shop and Laboratory is such that we could not subject their Oils to the exhaustive tests necessary before we could give same approval. Are you in accord? ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
