TO HN.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} [crossed out] FROM EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} ORIGINAL EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/ 14.3.30. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x7260. x7250 7500 7830 x7770 RE PROPOSED MODIFIED BONNET RADIATOR & DASH. P.2. We thank you for your Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}/HnI8/EDI/I-3-30. re the above. You will recollect that at the interview with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} when he inspected the models of the proposed improved radiators, bonnets and dashboards for both of our cars it was decided to fit the improvment to the experimental body which is being built at Park Wards in the case of the 20/25 HP. car. In the case of the Phantom 2. it was decided that, if I would let SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} know when the design was sent to Derby, he would discuss with them ways and means of getting a "mock-up" made. In our letter to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} issuing the design, EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}9/JL.27.2.30. typed by one of your typists, this was made clear. A copy was sent to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} It would appear therefore that it is up to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to make the next move. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} [Handwritten note] I have suggested to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that it would be easiest to build a radiator bonnet + a sheet dash + get Hones to make a scuttle Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}, | ||
