ACL. has an engine on the test bed which he is preparing for this car. Mr. Day has instructed standard 20 HP. tubular cross members to be fitted to this chassis at the same distance from the dashboard as they are on the 20 HP. which he says will be quite satisfactory.

The brake mechanism will be the same as on the standard 20 HP. car except for the length of brake ropes.

We should like a set of 5 to 1 pistons making for the engine of this car, so that when ACL's engine is fitted to it we can hand over the engine taken from the chassis with 5 to 1 compression ratio for him to continue his tests.

20 EX. CAR.

This car will carry on with the engine mounting tests and should be fitted with the tubular cross members similar to those on 22-EX. at the earliest possible moment. It is also to be used for testing a 40/50 carburetter fitted with a diffuser which is being prepared by ACL.

BUMPER CHASSIS.

This should be fitted with tubular cross members similar to 22-EX.

PROPELLER SHAFT TESTING RIG.

This is now completed and we ought to get it in the Shop to carry out intensive tests on the prop. shaft.
