X. 7520 DAL/M6.2.29. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 'SS{S. Smith}' FRONT SHOCK DAMPER. Since we sent you N.sch.2814 we have given the question of the ball and lubrication further consideration, and we think that the attached N.sch.2817 will be more acceptable than N.sch.2814. The principal improvement is reduction in the size of the holes passing through the lever bosses. We suggest that you should use this scheme instead of N.sch.2814. The lubrication principle is the same, and is that which the Expl: Dept: have recently asked for. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
