To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} x208. E.13/HP.3.5.33. c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Bentley Carburation. Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/6/KT.2.5.33, we should like you to test the intake silencer moved about 2" further back nearer to the dash. This modification allows of the insertion of 2" of straight pipe between the air inlet bend and the rear carburetter, which may help to avoid the effect on the rear carburetter and improve the consumption. bad E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
