Thank you for your letter.

Grylls has just handed me a copy of "Automotive Industries" of July 11th. 1936, which shows a picture of the Bendix turbo flywheel gear.

You will notice that these people have incorporated a small epicyclic to give them an emergency low gear and a reverse.

I still think it rather surprising that this device did not make some headway in America.
