I attach hereto copy of letter from this firm dated 6th inst., which has been sent to me by D/JL. I understand from D/JL. that the letter was received along with an order for work to be done on chassis No.1892, which is being overhauled in the Repair Dept. You will notice that Sterns Ltd. are anxious to obtain from us orders for "Sternol RR" and "Ambroleum" Lubricants. I recognise that the question of whether these lubricants should be used in our cars is one to be settled by our Technical, Experimental and Test Departments; therefore I pass the letter on to those departments. I shall be pleased to learn what decision those departments come to with regard to this matter. In the meantime I am returning herewith to D/JL. the original letter from Sterns Ltd.
