Dear Sirs, re-Chassis 1892. We have pleasure in enclosing supplementary order for the additional improvements to the above car. We take this opportunity of pointing out to you that while your car is in constant use by our Managing Director, and while we are doing all we can to recommend your cars to our friends (since our Managing Director is so delighted with his car) and while we are now placing an order with you for over £300, we cannot trace having had any encouragement from you in any way of a contra account for our "STERNOL RR" (Rolls-Royce quality) nor for our "AMBROLEUM" the "silent" gear lubricant. Both of these materials are used by our Managing Director as well as by all his friends who have your cars, for the cylinder and gear box lubrication. Mr. Wallach has tried every make of oil on the market to see how it compares with "STERNOL" and has found that there is not one to come up to our "STERNOL RR" grade. Naturally the oil being for use by our Managing Director special care is taken to supply a good quality and we venture to say that our "STERNOL RR" is the best oil in the market for Rolls-Royce cars. We shall be glad to know if you will test the oil for yourself and let us know whether you approve of same and can place with us your contra account and/or in any case give us your recommendation which equally applies to "AMBROLEUM".
