We were rather surprised to find this just
as bad on the Curtiss engine, which strongly suggests that it
is not entirely due to arc of lifter, as this engine has
direct lifters giving a straight line.

We have an advantage over the Curtiss because
we have rollers to work on our cams.

We suggest you set someone to find how to
always get valve erosion, such as loose valve guides, letting
steam or water into the cylinders, after which we could find
how to stop or avoid it.
