HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X7005 R6/M28.11.31. Sent off 30.11.31. X7005 P. 2. CONVERSION MOUNTING. Owing to the increased size of the torque dampers certain inconveniences have been found in the arrangement at present being used, and I suggested instead of adding any additional parts we could clear the matter up by changing the type of external type. We have arranged that simple drawings of the modi-fications shall be sent to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has also found a simple way out of the diffi-culty using all existing parts. A drawing is sent by this post. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
