PHANTOM II - DIAMOND ENGINE MOUNTING. With reference to the difficulties pointed out in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.2/AD.7.11.31. the matter has been carefully considered with the Works, and we have prepared RR.Sch.138, print of which we send you herewith, showing how the difficulties can be overcome by making a few small modifications, which are as follows :- (1) The two outside plates of the torque re-action damper anchor independently on the brackets, which carry the front support for the engine. (2) Set screws used in place of studs for anchoring the central plate of the torque re-action damper. We would like to have your comments in regard to the above as soon as possible.
