RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}6/AP.21.3.38 7.B.V. We are sending 7.B.V. into the Fitting Shop. Will you please carry out the following mods:- (1) Fit 1000 lbs. rear springs. (2) Hand rear shock absorbers to W.Bell. (3) Dismantle gearbox in order that something may be done to the 2nd. speed coupling to prevent 2nd. speed gear jumping out of mesh. Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} will give the necessary instructions. (4) Fit EXS.570 thrust button in water pump. (5) Fit up-to-date bottom tappets. (6) Fit 5/16 push rods. (7) Fit 6ft. valve grummets. (8) New speedometer cable requires fitting, also new speedometer. (9) Field earthing screw on dynamo requires tightening. (10)Oil return hole required in gearbox partition to allow oil to keep level in both compartments.
