| PRICE'S PATENT CANDLE COMPANY LIMITED. -4- Reverting for a moment to the main filter handed to the writer by Mr. Cowen, the following information regarding this would be helpful. Has the Phantom III in question been under your supervision throughout the mileage during which the deposit on the filter has accumulated? How many miles have been covered since the filter was last cleaned; in other words what is the mileage over which the deposit has accumulated? Some idea of the nature of the running conditions would also be helpful, and presumably a No. 1 grade of fuel has been used throughout. You will appreciate that whilst we do not hold Motorine C responsible for all these difficulties, we are, of course, most anxious to co-operate in arriving at a satisfactory explanation.
