Remarks: No definitely permanent cure. Nature of Complaint: Broken Front Springs. No. of Cars Data: Prior to India (W. 8., N. 12., P. -, Total 20.), India Series (W. -, N. -, P. -, Total 20.), Last qtr's total - 24. Remarks: When the Front Springs break we invariably fit stronger springs. Early specification for 20HP. springing was too light. Nature of Complaint: Burning Platinum points. No. of Cars Data: Prior to India (W. 2., N. 6., P. -, Total 8.), India Series (W. 4., N. 3., P. -, Total 15.), Last qtr's total - 7. Remarks: We are ventilating the Distributor Cover in cases of complaint. Nature of Complaint: Dynamo failures. No. of Cars Data: Prior to India (W. -, N. 2., P. -, Total 2.), India Series (W. 1., N. 9., P. -, Total 12.), Last qtr's total - 23. Remarks: The latest Dynamo is a considerable improvement, and we hope it will help to overcome this trouble. Nature of Complaint: Noisy Tappets. No. of Cars Data: Prior to India (W. 1., N. -, P. -, Total 1.), India Series (W. 11., N. -, P. 1., Total 13.), Last qtr's total - 11. Remarks: The greatest number of complaints are caused by wear on the Pins for the Rollers. The smallest amount of wear here makes it impossible to get quiet Tappets. The trouble is generally overcome by supplying new Pins. | ||
