Brake Drums.

We especially instructed 4 brake drums to EXS.1755 the whole object of the experiment being that the ribs on the drum were to be cast in. Having received these drums with the ribs machined we have gone into the matter and find the error is entirely due to the pattern shop not working to the drawing, and making the pattern with both ribs solid.

This makes the drums we have received valueless and we shall have to obtain another set added to which the error will cause serious delay.
