For the attention of Mr. F.{Mr Friese} Ll. Smith.

Dear Sirs,

We have to acknowledge receipt of your esteemed letter of the 8th instant for which please accept our thanks.

Firstly, one 13½" American 'Hyco' facing has been forwarded to you to-day labelled for your attention; actually this is the only facing available and we would therefore kindly ask you to return this facing to us after completion of your test, should same be in a sound condition.

For records sake we would advise that we are agreeable to enter this facing without charge.

With reference to the third paragraph of your letter, the 13½" driven plate mentioned has been received and we are arranging to return this unit to you to-day rectified. We indeed regret that we should have despatched an assembly with a rivet omitted. The three 10" plates received will be re-faced immediately with standard woven material.

Finally, the one 10.A3 clutch required with red thrust springs will be despatched to you to-morrow, also the two 10" driven plates lined with RAD-11 material.

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.

A.M.Shinkins.
