W Platford Can you say something re Palmers? [Pencil Note Top Right]: W. Haden Had one on test. said tyres have had room to play once or twice otherwise behaved well LP{Mr Lappin} it quite won't do - I notice with Palmer Cord 6" tyres. on the Rudge Whitworth - Wheels a difference in the steering. I think it this comes from more weight of tyre on the rim and from the wire wheel not having its weight so evenly distributed as the wooden wheel - If you have noticed any difference with Palmer Cords I should like to hear.
