NAVAL & MILITARY CLUB, 94, PICCADILLY, W.1. Telephone No. GROSVENOR 2103. 8 July 30 Dear Briggs A company in which I am interested, Metafilters Ltd Belgrave Road Hounslow has got out an oil filter for cars +. The principle can be applied to any engine, but at present only filters for lubricating oil of car engines have been made up. The filter is simple & has no renewal filtering medium to renew, is cleaned by flushing back by a simple device and the removed grit taken out without dismantling. It is claimed that particles are removed of a smaller size than by any other filter now going and any not dealt with are too small to have any abrasive effect. We should very much like to supply one free of charge of course, to Rolls Royce to try; could you help us in the matter by putting us in touch with the representative who deals with such details it would be much appreciated. Yours sincerely W Pattey | ||
