To Mr. [illegible], from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to Mr. [illegible] " " [illegible] " " EFC. ORIGINAL 25 AUG 1919 RECEIVED EA/G22/8/19. 2 X.3631. RE WHEEL & TYRE 20 H.P. CHASSIS. Referring to the wheel and tyre size of the 20 H.P. chassis, it has occurred to Mr. Royce that 760 m/m diameter is the size of Ford tyres, and as an oversize tyre is now generally supplied for Ford cars, and would therefore be available in quantity, this same tyre might be suitable for our chassis, and if large enough in section, would enable us to still use 760 m/m diameter. Would you kindly therefore, in accordance with Mr. Royce's wishes, find out if these tyres are suitable for the purpose proposed. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
