To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to CE. [Struck through] DIT. [Struck through] EFC. [Struck through] [Stamp] ORIGINAL [Stamp] RECEIVED RE DIE CAST CRANKSHAFT OIL CAPS. X.3632. I am informed by Mr. Stent that the crankshaft oil caps made for Eagle engines in the States, were slightly altered in design so that they could be die cast. Perhaps it would be as well to apply this move to those on the 20 H.P. engine. We should be much obliged if you would issue instructions for a die cast crankshaft oil cap to be sent to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town as a model. for criticism.
